It's Time to Get Mugged... With Some New Mug Types!
When most of us think of a coffee mug the first thing that comes to mind is usually a ceramic white or black mug with your choice beverage.
Here at friggencawfee.com we've discussed a big list of coffee mugs in the past, and I said in some of those posts that there was such as huge list of specific mug types it would be difficult to cover them all in one post, giving us much to talk about in the feature!
Today we'll be discussing an awesome travelers mug, the collapsible coffee mug!
Specifically in this case and since we'll be pointing you in the direction of our choice of what we consider the best collapsible coffee mug for your money, the collapsible silicone mug.
Since it's very clear to me that my readers are some of the smartest people on earth you're probably thinking that most any of the collapsible coffee mugs on the market would be made from silicon, since it's considered safe for food and beverages.
Annnddd.... you're pretty much going to be right with that assumption. While it's not impossible to make a collapsible coffee cup from other material, finding something that's safe for human consumption adds to the challenge greatly.
Because of this fact, we're not even going to try to talk about anything other than the silicone collapsible coffee mugs.
The Hiker's Best Coffee Companion for Mugging.
When it came to the creation of the first collapsible travel mugs the inventors probably had hikers, fishers, campers, and other outdoor adventurists in mind, after all you have to pick the right market that makes sense for your product.
I'm an avid hiker myself and love to spend time with a staff in my hand, a pack on my back, and several miles ahead to trek and nature to soak in.
It's an amazing way to burn calories and destress, but when it comes to packing my hiking pack I always have to consider what I'm carrying and why, and if there's a smaller version of something or especially multifunctional versions then I almost always opt in for that product.
Carrying a full sized, bulky, or even worse, a breakable version of a coffee mug it quickly turns into a no go for that item, as I've fallen more than once on harder hikes and ceramic won't make it when your pack crashes down onto a big stone boulder.
My reasons? Check them out below.
1. Cost efficient and durable.
You absolutely do not want want to spend a lot of money on something breakable, so the EasyXQ gives you a tough mug for your hard earned cash.
2. It comes with a lid!
Whether it's hiking, fishing, or any other number of active outdoor activities you're going to be moving and bouncing around a good bit, so you have to have something to keep liquid secure and from spilling out... literally everywhere. The EasyXQ offers a solid lid seal to keep it where it's supposed to be.
3. Food safe silicone.
Probably a pretty obvious fact here, but it's important to always be sure to buy food rated items for... well... food.
4. My personal favorite, the D-ring.
I also wear a tactical vest on my hikes, simply because what it offers for pouches and hooks for D-rings for various equipment can't hardly be beat. This silicone mug has one built in and ready to hook right on with your other gear, super handy!
Whether you're travelling across the country on the adventure of a life time or just heading to your local trails this product is absolutely one I encourage you to buy.
Happy hiking and happy sipping my friends!
